Vestal Cabinets is a family owned business. Vestal Cabinets was established in 2003. Dion Metcalf the founder and Director has been in Cabinet Making since 1991 with a Shop Fitting and Architectural Joinery background.
With years of experience in all aspects of joinery and cabinet making, Vestal Cabinets have a product for everyone. We are a factory direct manufacturer and cater for Home Renovators, Architects and Builders.
Vestal Cabinets is located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and we service all metropolitan Melbourne including Northcote, Thornbury, Kew, Hawthorn, Balwyn, Camberwell, Carlton, Fitzroy, Abbotsford, Brunswick and Mont Albert. Specialising in the design and manufacture of custom designed kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, commercial fit outs, Vestal Cabinets works closely with you to ensure the required design and finish is achieved, ensuring our high standards of construction and installation are delivered.

Design
We offer an expert design service calling upon our years of experience manufacturing and installing custom joinery. We can offer you advice and suggestions as to how to make the best use of the space you have available. We make use of CAD based 3D computer technology so you can view your project in detail before we commence construction to ensure it is designed and manufactured to your needs and the style you envisage.
A kitchen for example, doesn't get changed every couple of years to suit trends or fads, so it is important to get it right the first time. Our goal is to provide you with quality custom made cabinets that are an asset and improve the aesthetics and value of your home.
Construction
As a matter of pride, we strive to provide the best quality workmanship and materials. All our cabinets are constructed from 16mm heat and moisture resistant materials, including solid 16mm backs.
Cabinet carcasses are edged with 1mm PVC dura-edge which is extremely hard wearing and does not chip off easily like melamine edging. All cabinets are nailed and screwed fixed together for maximum strength. Cabinets are fitted with Blum clip-on 107° hinges and steel sided metabox draws as standard.
Our 3D CAD Software is screen to machine and is linked to the CNC on the factory floor. This facilitates efficiency and ensures quality and accuracy when machining the components of your Cabinetry.
- Cabinet carcasses are faced with your choice of materials (e.g. doors and panels) required:
- melamine
- vinyl wrap
- timber/veneer
- two pac paint finishes
- glass
Please note that everything above is standard, but as with every project, it is all custom and made to order to suit your needs and your taste.
Warranty
At Vestal Cabinets we warrant our products with a 10 year warranty from the date of purchase. We warrant that our products are free of defects in both materials and workmanship.
If you find a product from Vestal Cabinets that contains any defect(s) in our workmanship or materials, then please contact us immediately at Vestal Cabinets and we will promptly repair or replace the defective piece, at no charge.
Our warranty cannot cover general wear and tear, negligence use of a product, finished surfaces being exposed to excessive moisture or heat, surface cracks, imperfections, and colour variations especially for natural products such as timber.
